Senior BIM Co-ordinator

My client is seeking an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator to join their in-house Building Services team, working on complex, multi-disciplinary M&E construction projects. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with stakeholders to resolve coordination issues and support successful project delivery across design and construction phases.

This role is based in Dublin and offers exposure to high-profile pharmaceutical, healthcare, data centre, industrial, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate 3D BIM models and associated drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Liaise closely with BIM Managers, Project Managers, Project Engineers, and site teams.
• Input model elements with accurate graphical and data information in line with project standards.
• Manage and monitor clash detection, producing weekly clash reports and coordination outputs.
• Coordinate incoming and shared models across multiple disciplines.
• Lead and facilitate weekly BIM coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
• Produce drawings, visualisations, and images for project reporting and client presentations.
• Develop Revit and AutoCAD models for mechanical and electrical services coordination.
• Coordinate M&E services, asset data, and digital construction deliverables.
• Produce COBie data, Asset Information Models, and as-built BIM models.
• Support BIM delivery across live construction and tender-stage projects.
• Generate M&E schematics and technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create BIM renders and visual outputs for reporting and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies and Quality Management Systems.
• Work with point cloud data to support accurate model development (where applicable).

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in BIM coordination, Revit modelling, or digital construction roles.
• Strong experience in M&E building services coordination is essential.
• Mechanical or Electrical trade background advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows, clash detection, and coordinated construction environments.
• Experience producing COBie data, asset information models, and as-built BIM deliverables.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to coordination issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
