Sales Branch Manager – Sea and Air Freight

Location: Felixstowe

Salary: up to £65,000 (DOE) + 20% Commission + Car Allowance/Company Car

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:30am-5:30pm

Are you a results driven, Sales Manager, experienced in Sales and Operations for Ocean and Air Freight, looking for a new role in Felixstowe? This role could be right for you.

My client is offering a fantastic package to help grow their business and Freight Forwarding sector. The right candidate will be an experienced and fully established Freight Manager who has worked previously for a UK based Freight Forwarder with knowledge and experience with Air and/or Sea Freight.

Key Responsibilities:

• To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent freight forwarding services.
• Manage new and existing business, handling the operations for consignments, from booking to invoice.
• To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
• Be the forefront of the company’s development by promoting the business to new and existing clients.

Requirements:

• Experience in a management role in the freight/logistics industry.
• Freight Forwarding Sales / Business Development Manager Experience.
• Experience and understanding of Freight Forwarding Operations.
• Experience working for a freight forwarding company.
• Ability to bring business would be advantageous.
• Hold a full, clean, UK driving licence.
