Seafreight Import Coordinator – Exeter – Up to £30,000
We are seeking an Import Coordinator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in import coordination and logistics, with a proven ability to manage and monitor the importing process from beginning to end.
Job Type – Permanent
Shift pattern Monday – Friday

Responsibilities
- Coordinate the import process, including documentation, customs clearance, and transportation.
- Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other parties to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
- Ensure compliance with import regulations and requirements
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Resolve any issues or delays related to the import process
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize import processes and procedures
Requirements
- 2-3 Years proven experience in import coordination, preferably in Freight Forwarding
- Strong knowledge of import regulations and customs procedures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems
