Job Title: Time Critical /Express Freight Coordinator (Air & Road)
Location: TW14
Salary: £40,000 + Bonus
Working Pattern: 4 on / 4 off – 07:00-19:00

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Time Critical / Express Freight Coordinator to join a fast-paced and highly responsive Express Freight division within a global logistics environment.

This is a critical operational role, responsible for managing time-sensitive air and road freight shipments from start to finish, ensuring exceptional service delivery, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

You will be working in a target-driven environment, coordinating urgent shipments, resolving operational issues, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of service for Express / Time Critical freight clients
• Handle full job lifecycle from order processing through to delivery (air & road freight)
• Create and manage shipments using internal systems (including Boxtop and CRM platforms)
• Ensure accurate documentation, warehouse coordination, and customs/clearance requirements where applicable
• Monitor and manage customer KPIs and service level agreements
• Proactively resolve operational issues and customer service escalations
• Liaise with road hauliers, co-loaders, airlines, and transport providers
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams including operations, sales, and accounts

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in freight forwarding, ideally within air and/or road express operations
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple time-critical shipments under pressure
• Confident using systems such as CRM and operational platforms (Boxtop experience advantageous)
• Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail
• A proactive, commercial mindset with a focus on service and profitability
• Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
