Transport Supervisor
Transport Planner – Trafford Park – Up to £38,000 plus Car allowance
You will be joining an independent logistics company that are experts in all they do, are looking for a Transport Planner to join their team.
As Transport Supervisor, you will be working with a small team of Planners, routing company owned vehicles UK wide.
Job type: Permanent
Hours: 4 on, 4 off
Salary: Up to £38,000 plus car allowance
The Role:
- Routing company owned vehicles
- You must Plan routes as cost effectively as possible
- Plan routes in line with WTD and Drivers Hours
- Ensure all customers are kept up to date
- All necessary admin must be completed
- You will be working with the Manager to ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with company standards
- Perform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g. costing, agreeing charge rates with contractors, queries in accordance with the companies’ requirements.
The Requirements:
- Extensive Transport route planning skills
- General Haulage is experience preferred
- Excellent geographical knowledge
- Strong communication skills
