The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading international logistics provider to recruit a Business Development Manager for their warehousing operation in Frankfurt.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across national and international markets. You will work closely with both customers and internal stakeholders to manage tenders, deliver tailored logistics solutions, and drive commercial growth.
This is a highly autonomous role where you will own the full sales cycle – from initial prospecting through to successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for prospective customers
- Professionally present logistics solutions and value propositions
- Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities
- Manage tender processes end-to-end, including negotiations and contract completion
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored customer solutions
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Lead the successful onboarding and implementation of new clients
Candidate Profile
- Experience in a commercial role such as Business Development Manager, Account Manager, or Sales Consultant (or strong motivation to move into sales)
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good understanding of logistics operations, ideally within warehousing or supply chain
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset
- Confident communicator with the ability to deliver presentations
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
