The Opportunity
A well-established and globally recognised logistics provider is seeking an experienced Air Import Coordinator to join their team based at Heathrow. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business offering stability, growth, and a professional working environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the full air import process, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently, compliantly, and in line with customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling air import shipments from start to finish
- Liaising with airlines, overseas agents, and customers
- Completing and checking customs entries in line with HMRC regulations
- Monitoring shipment progress and providing timely updates
- Managing documentation and ensuring compliance at all stages
- Resolving any shipment issues quickly and professionally
Requirements
- Proven experience in air freight imports
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation
- Experience within a freight forwarding environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
