Location: Coleshill – West Midlands
Salary: Up to £28,000 (depending on experience)
The Opportunity
A well-established and highly respected logistics provider is seeking a European Road Freight Forwarder to join their busy operations team in Coleshill. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their freight forwarding career looking to develop within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and coordinating European road freight export shipments
- Handling groupage and full load movements across Europe
- Completing customs documentation in line with current regulations
- Liaising with customers, hauliers, and overseas agents
- Ensuring all shipments meet compliance and service level requirements
- Managing bookings, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues proactively
Requirements
- Essential: Experience in European road freight forwarding
- Essential: Knowledge of export operations and customs procedures
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
