We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our fast-paced European road freight team. As part of a well-established logistics group, we operate our own trailers and work with contracted suppliers who provide additional capacity. This role involves managing the loading of trailers within the UK for export to Italy and other European destinations.

As an Export European Road Freight Operator, you will oversee the full transport process from start to finish, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your daily tasks will include:
- Order Management: Entering transport orders into our system and maintaining accurate load sheets and files.
- Client Communication: Providing regular updates to clients from booking to delivery.
- Route Planning: Creating optimized routes and maps for drivers and subcontractors.
- Customs Coordination: Ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained and processed efficiently to avoid delays.
- Fleet Monitoring: Tracking our fleet using GPS and maintaining contact with subcontractors.
- Load Management: Managing a dedicated set of 10-13 trucks daily, ensuring timely deliveries.
Requirements:
- Must have 2 years Road freight forwarding experience.
- Knowledge of customs clearance requirements – post Brexit.
- Successful history of building customer relationships.
- Good level of communication and negotiating skills.
