Salary: up to £100,000

We are recruiting for our client, a market leader in marine logistics, bridging oceans and offering world class transportation and shipping solutions. As they expand their services, they are looking for a highly skilled Marine Operations Manager who is passionate about the industry and who has the vision to help them in providing exceptional service.

As a Senior Marine Operations Manager, you will be responsible for shaping the UK Operations and for making the impossible happen for their clients. You will be the driving force for operational excellence, leading a team of professionals to implement strategic initiatives.

Your key responsibilities as a Senior Marine Operations Manager:

* Manage and lead a team of 12 professionals to ensure efficient and effective marine operations
* Lead, mentor and develop the marine operations team
* Build strong and lasting relationships with key partners and represent the company at strategic events
* Monitor industry trends and advancements to improve operational effectiveness
* Shape and collaborate departments to align company goals
* Pursue new opportunities, develop partnerships and strive to push the company forward
* Make important, key decisions

Requirements:

* Proven managerial experience in maritime or logistics
* Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
* Demonstrate expertise in business strategy and operations
* Be able to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and wider team
* Develop trust and respect from colleagues & clients alike
* The availability to travel internationally
