We’re recruiting a Transport Operations Manager to join a leading foodservice distributor in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a forward-thinking leader to develop a strong team, enhance operational performance and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a large transport team, building engagement and a positive, collaborative culture.
- Oversee safe, compliant and efficient transport operations.
- Plan ahead, identify improvement opportunities and drive performance.
- Ensure customer service remains central to operational decisions.
- Improve team engagement, develop talent and support staff retention.
About You
- Transport Managers CPC – essential.
- Proven experience leading large transport teams within foodservice, FMCG or a similar distribution environment.
- Strong people management, communication and engagement skills.
- A strategic mindset with a track record of improving performance and developing people.
- A customer-focused approach and a genuine commitment to teamwork.
