Transport Operations Manager
Transport Operations Manager required in Chepstow
Joining a UK leader in temperature controlled distribution, you will have full autonomy for the transport team.
It is essential that you have managed in excess of 100 people and that you hold a Managers CPC to go on the O License.
Experience managing multi-drop or temperature controlled movements is highly beneficial.
The Package:
£50,000 - £55,000
Monday - Friday
Occasional Saturdays
Hours to suit business needs
33 days holiday inc Bank holidays

The Role:
Transport operations Manager will oversee a team of 100 drivers and 30 office staff
You will be responsible for; compliance, Health & Safety, P&L & operational success
It is essential that all HR policies are implemented and that you manage a diverse team effectively
As Transport operations Manager, you must ensure the entire operation runs smoothly and efficiently
You will be working with key stakeholders to reach depot and company targets
The Requirements:
Manager CPC for the O License is essential
Multi-drop / temperature controlled logistics experience is desired
Previously managed a team of 100+ including a large team of drivers
Excellent person management skills
Team builder, mentor and proactive manager
