What You’ll Be Doing

As a Multimodal Freight Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing freight operations across air, sea, and road. Your goal? Ensuring smooth, compliant, and on-time import/export shipments from start to finish.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and managing freight movements across multiple transport modes
  • Preparing and reviewing shipping documents (bills of lading, customs declarations, etc.)
  • Communicating with overseas agents, carriers, and clients
  • Using freight forwarding systems and the CDS platform to manage and track shipments
  • Troubleshooting and resolving logistical challenges
  • Supporting internal teams and providing exceptional service to clients

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about logistics.

To be successful, you’ll need:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience with a UK-based freight forwarder (air, sea, or road)
  • Solid knowledge of import/export operations and customs procedures
  • Experience with freight forwarding software and the CDS system
  • Excellent multitasking and communication skills
  • Dangerous Goods by Air certification is a plus (but not essential)
  • A positive, solutions-focused attitude
