Ocean Import Coordinator – Atlanta, GA

$65,000 – $70,000 | Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm | Office Based

What you’ll be doing

• Manage end-to-end Ocean Import shipments, from arrival through customs clearance and final delivery.
• Coordinate with ocean carriers, customs brokers, trucking providers and customers.
• Manage bills of lading, commercial invoices, import documentation and shipment records.
• Track cargo, resolve exceptions and proactively communicate with customers.
• Ensure shipments comply with applicable customs and import regulations.
• Maintain accurate shipment and billing information within logistics systems.
• Deliver a high level of customer service in a fast-paced freight-forwarding environment.

What we’re looking for

• Solid experience in Ocean Freight / Ocean Import within freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of US import processes and customs documentation.
• Experience working with freight-forwarding systems; CargoWise experience would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and follow-through.
• Confident communicator who can build strong relationships with customers, carriers and internal teams.
• Someone who enjoys problem-solving and taking ownership from shipment booking through to delivery.
