Quantity Surveyor

My Client is a leading national provider of Mechanical Service Installations to high-profile clients across Ireland. The company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing costings across a wide range of projects. This role presents a unique opportunity to join a growing organisation and develop a long-term career within the business.

Main Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the terms and conditions of sub-contractors and contracts, with emphasis on risk, programme, terms & conditions, and design responsibility.
• Prepare tender risk analyses based on standard formats and contract documentation, including bills of quantities.
• Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
• Provide advice on contractual claims, including analysis of outcomes, forecasting, and reporting as required.
• Prepare and present monthly company reports for each project and/or business review, in line with company formats and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly commercial reports.
• Support the Estimation Department from time to time in the preparation of estimates.
• Ensure client relationships are enhanced to maximise current and future opportunities.
• Take off, price, and track variations for submission to clients.
• Take off, price, and track tender returns in a timely manner.

The Candidate:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Certificate or Diploma in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Studies, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work on own initiative while also being a strong team player.
• Excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently, maximise productivity, and meet challenging deadlines.
• A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Package:

• €85,000 – €100,000 DOE
• Bonus
• Car allowance
• €115,000 – €125,000 OTE
• 8% pension
• 25 days holiday increasing with service
