Transport Planner
Job Title: Transport Planner
Locations: Portsmouth
Hours: Monday – Friday / 0400 starts / Overtime available
Salary: Up to £32K (Depending on experience)
About us
WR Logistics are recruiting for one of our clients based in Hilsea, Portsmouth that specialise in Freight Forwarding and Logistics.
Duties – Transport Planner
As Transport Planner you will be arranging the release, collection and deliveries.
You will plan Driver routes UK and further wide ensuring adherence to WTD – dealing with any infringements.
It is your responsibility to ensure all routes are planned cost efficiently.
You will be working with management to ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with company standards.
Requirements
Previous experience within a planning role
Good knowledge of UK Roads
Excellent communication skills
