Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding & Logistics
Location: Los Angeles, CA
An established international freight forwarding and logistics company is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, and Supply Chain Solutions throughout Southern California.
Salary & Benefits
- $130,000 salary
- Uncapped commission structure
- Expected OTE: $150,000 – $220,000+

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and win new freight forwarding and logistics business.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Build relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, and distributors.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure excellent customer service.
- Achieve and exceed revenue and profit targets.
Requirements
- 3+ years of business development or sales experience within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain.
- Strong knowledge of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and international shipping.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Existing industry contacts are advantageous.
