Location: Felixstowe
Salary: Up to £30,000, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Transport Planner to join a leading global logistics business based in Felixstowe. This is a fantastic role for someone looking to develop their career within transport planning, working as part of a supportive and experienced team.

As Junior Transport Planner, you will assist with the day-to-day planning and coordination of transport operations, helping to ensure the efficient movement of goods while maintaining excellent service levels for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and coordinating daily transport movements

• Support the wider transport team with route planning and vehicle scheduling

• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal departments

• Monitor deliveries and resolve any operational issues where possible

• Update internal systems with accurate transport and delivery information

• Help ensure compliance with company procedures and transport regulations

• Provide general administrative support to the transport operation

Requirements:

• Previous experience in transport, logistics, shipping, or freight would be advantageous

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability

• Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Based within a commutable distance of Felixstowe
