Customs Clerk – Coleshill – Up to £33,000

We are seeking a Customs Coordinator to join our client at their Coleshill operation. This role offers the opportunity to build a career in a fast-paced logistics environment, supporting the accurate and compliant processing of import and export customs entries.

You will act as a key contact for customers, customs authorities, and internal teams, ensuring the smooth and timely movement of goods across borders.

Key Responsibilities

• Process import and export customs entries accurately and on time
• Prepare and check customs documentation for full regulatory compliance
• Liaise with customs authorities and external parties to resolve queries and issues
• Support customers with enquiries in a professional and proactive manner
• Work with internal teams to ensure smooth freight movement through the supply chain
• Monitor shipments and ensure all documentation is completed within deadlines
• Investigate and resolve customs delays, discrepancies, and documentation issues
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
• Support compliance with customs legislation and company procedures
• Build effective working relationships with customers and stakeholders

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with stakeholders at all levels
