Position: Sales Support Manager

Location: Feltham

Hours: Monday – Friday

Salary: Up to £70,000 (DOE)

We are recruiting for a Global Logistics company with over 18,000 employees worldwide. They seek a Commercial Sales Support Manager to join their specialist team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role and experience completing quotations for air, ocean and road transport. You must be able to lead a team and drive business growth by developing and implementing strategic sales plans

Your key responsibilities as a Sales Support Manager:

• Manage and lead a team of commercial support staff across the country
• Provide administrative support to the sales team, completing quotations for all modes of transport
• Identify new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships
• Develop and maintain sales reports and analytics to track progress and identify areas of progress
• Coordinate sales activities and ensure timely follow-up on leads and customer enquiries
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure develop sales strategies and achieve sales targets
• Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination

Requirements:

• Proven experience in commercial sales support role within the logistics industry – ESSENTIAL
• Strong understanding of quoting for air, sea and road transport
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team
• String organisation and time management skills
• Experience in managing RFQ’s
• Attention to detail and results-driven mindset
• Sales driven individual with a passion for winning business
• Proven ability to create long-term relationships with key decision-makers
• Ambitious, conscientious & driven personality with a strong work ethic
